That’s why we offer story sessions to every couple.
Similar to an engagement shoot, you’ll take us to any place that feels true to you both. You’ll play and be yourselves outside of the pressure of a wedding day. This session gives us the ability to get to know your unique love story beyond just the wedding day itself, and it allows you to be your authentic selves in front of the camera.
It makes the wedding film richer in story as we get a deeper understanding of you both. In this way we can navigate the narrative of your wedding film with intention and hone in on the subtleties of emotion that others who don’t know your story would miss.

In our Pure Super 8 films, we'll put your footage of this perfectly imperfect analogue film to a 2-3 minute soundtrack to create a tangible memory you can cherish forever.

Meet Paul, your lead filmmaker, over a coffee (or zoom if you prefer) to get to know each other better. We know it’ll be a match made in heaven! Upon confirmation, we require a 20% deposit to secure your date. Here we’ll also schedule and plan your story session. Then it’s all steam ahead towards your big day.

Wedding films, but different
You’ll be sent a curated questionnaire to help us get familiar with your plans. We’ll also talk in more detail about planning the bridal shoot and what to expect on the day.
Not long now! You’ll receive a quick call to check in and see if any changes have been made to the schedule. Some small talk about the weather is in order here too. Rain or shine, we’ve got your videography needs covered!
The Big Day
1 week after
Your big day has finally arrived! Our number one priority: that you are relaxed and having fun. Today, you don’t have to worry about a thing - leave all the memory capturing to us and focus on enjoying each other. We’ll be right there beside you to guide you if needed.
You're still on cloud nine! If your collection includes a social media package, we'll send through your portrait reels within the week of your wedding so that you can share the excitement with friends and family.
1 month after
14-18 weeks after
We’ve been waiting patiently for your analogue film to develop. You’ll receive a teaser 1 month after your big day, a sneak peek of what’s to come! See? There’s still more wedding fun to be had! You’ll be getting excited all over again.
We’ve left no stone unturned, and are proud to present your one-of-a-kind wedding film. We’ll send you the link to your private online gallery, where you can view, download and share your film with your friends and family. And what’s more, your keepsake roll of Super 8 will be delivered to your door as a memento of your day!
